Thank you for a very worthwhile and valuable day. I'm really looking forward to implementing it in my classroom.

Very inclusive. Well run. Positive vibe. Gr8 location & parking. Positive attitudes.

I feel a bit "activitied out" at the moment, but that's OK :)

Donna was very easy to listen to and friendly I've not known a presenter to personally welcome me or the whole group. Excellent!

I feel very excited about this program because I believe it will benefit so many of our students. :) Thank you!

Afternoon session a good way to keep people involved at the end of a long week.

Trainer comments:

The first ‘open’ workshop in SA for 2012 welcomed 23 participants from 17 schools & campuses throughout the state, and it was encouraging to see several ‘new’ Lions Quest schools represented.  Travelling from as far as Mount Gambier, Naracoorte, Meningie, Yankalilla, Hope Valley and Meadows, R-12 teachers, Pastoral Support Workers, school leaders and coordinators participated enthusiastically in the variety of Lions Quest workshop activities.

The lively discussion and open sharing of ideas and concerns created an ideal forum for exploring aspects of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and experiencing the Lions Quest programs.

Lion Bronte, congratulations on another successful SA workshop, with more teachers excited about their Lions Quest implementation!

Trainer comments:

The first workshop in South Australia for 2012 involved 39 participants from Ceduna Area School. Middle and Senior school teachers, specialists, PRTs, school leaders and SSOs participated enthusiastically in the variety of Lions Quest workshop activities.

The lively discussion and open sharing of ideas and concerns created an ideal forum for exploring aspects of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and experiencing aspects of the Skills for Adolescence program. Although it was a hot day, and the crowded classroom restricted movement, the group was happy to conduct an energizer outside. The Now it’s Your Turn presentations were enjoyable, and professionally presented, with all participants applying themselves willingly to the task.

The implementation planning time at the end of the day could have been longer, but the time available was used very productively. Both middle and senior sections of the school are keen to get started.

Lion Bronte, congratulations on another successful SA workshop, with another school excited about its Lions Quest implementation!

Trainer comments:

What a wonderful whole-school group this was to work with! Positive, enthusiastic and professional ... and excited about implementing the Lions Quest programs.

All participants joined in the workshop activities with enthusiasm and contributed well to discussions and group activities.

It’s very pleasing to see Stirling East progress to whole-staff training and planned whole-school implementation following on from Annette and Suzanne’s attendance at the March workshop in Adelaide. We are proud to be making a significant contribution to the social and emotional wellbeing of the students at Stirling East Primary School. We hope to see further Lions Quest activity in the Adelaide Hills!

Our thanks to Principal Alexandra for her support; to Lion Bronte for workshop organisation; school staff and helpers for wonderful catering.
