In
February 2003 the
Yorke Peninsula Rail Preservation
Society became the
Lions Club of Yorke Peninsula Rail
Inc (LCYPR).
We
run tourist trains between Wallaroo,
Kadina and Bute, using modified ex-STA
rail-cars. The normal tourist train
comprises two 2000 Class rail-cars
and one \"trailer\" car which has
toilets and snack bar facilities
aboard.
The
train runs twice a month, on a
regular basis, with extra trains
scheduled during school & public
holidays. See the
timetable for more
details. Tickets can be purchased on
the day of a run, in advance, or the
train can be chartered for a group.
For more details, see the
bookings
page. |
