Lions Quest

What are the aims of the Quest program?
The Quest program aims to encourage and equip key adults in the lives of children with state of the art resources which are essential for the healthy development of young people. Lions-Quest programs aim to help young people develop positive commitments to their peers, and communities.

How does it work?
Parents, educators, business and community leaders, and other adults who are key figures in the lives of youth are brought together in effective local partnerships where their individual skills are complemented and reinforced. There are essentially three quest programs with the "Skills for Growing' program targeting 5-10 year old, "Skills for Adolescence' aimed at 11-14 year old, and the "Skills for Action' program focussing on 15-18 year olds. The programs focus on developing essential life and citizenship skills that lead to positive social behaviours such as; responsibility, good judgement, self-discipline, getting along with others, avoiding harmful use of drugs, and providing service to others.
