All Lions members should be well aware of our weekly
Lions radio programme, “The World of Lions”, broadcast on Monday nights at
7-30 p.m. on RPH Adelaide, at 1197 on the am band.
If you miss the programme and have access to a
computer, now you can hear it on line any time during the week following the
broadcast.
To access it is easy. Simply go onto the web and head
to
www.rphadelaide.org.au/program_downloads.htm
then click onto “The World of Lions”, sit back and enjoy. (You might
find that you need to click onto the date, not the name of the
programme.
Alternatively, you can follow these steps
-
Go to
www.rphadelaide.org.au
-
Click onto ‘listen on line’.
-
Click onto “Click here to download selected programs’.
-
Scroll down to “The World of Lions” and click on the date.
-
You
will receive a media player, which will begin automatically after a few
seconds.
The management of the station updates the programme by
11-00 a.m. on the day after the programme airs.
There is a counter which keeps track of the number of
hits onto our programme and the intention is that after a couple of months,
this will be reviewed to decide whether this facility will continue, so I
urge all Lions to utilise this free service to us.
So, now there is no need to miss out on hearing
our
programme. Remember, “The World of Lions”,
Either:
on RPH Adelaide, at 7-30 p.m. on Monday nights
Or: at
www.rphadelaide.org.au at your convenience any time in the week.
