VALE, LION CYRIL JOHNSTON
Lion
Cyril Johnston was born 17 June 1910 and joined Harrington Lions
Club in March 1978.
He
served several terms as Director and many years as Lion Mints
Chairman. He also served on the Forest Camp Committee.
His
home and business was in Coopernook where he operated a garage.
Cyril had a reputation as a talented motor mechanic.
In
later years he worked as a mail contractor. He was granted the
status of Privileged Lion in late 1994 but still did the mints
around Coopernook for a few more years.

Cyril passed away 27th April 2008. |
