VALE, LION GEOFF SMITH
Geoff Joined Lions on 4th September 1985
and was an
active member for over 20 years
achieving 20 years perfect attendance.
He was awarded a Melvin Jones Fellowship in July
2007.
His highest position was that of Club President
once in 1990 and again in 1995.
He also
served three terms as 1st Vice President, one term as 3rd
Vice President, nine terms as Treasurer still holding this position
until his passing.
Geoff had
also served as his Club Christmas Cakes Chairman and on the Catering
Committee, Membership Committee and Disaster & Emergency Relief
Committee.
Lion Geoff is
survived by his Lions Lady Jill. |
