  The Lions International Youth Camp Program fulfils the first purpose of Lions: To create and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world . District 201N3 (Lions of the Hunter & Central Coast Regions of New South Wales, Australia) will conduct an international project from
7th - 15th July 2012 comprising:
7th -
15th July 2012. International Youth Camp LionsCamp Kookaburra Surf, beach, lagoon, lake, open space, bush walks. Application to attend the Camp is open to international and Australian male and female youth aged in
the range of 17years at 30th June 2012 to 21years at 29th July 2012 who
can converse in English, are physically able to participate in
activities and have been endorsed by a LIONS Club from their region. The camp fee is AUD$600 (click to convert to your currency) which
includes camp accommodation and meals, excursion entry fees, an
official dinner, camp jacket, souvenir camp booklet and transfers between a Newcastle airport, rail or bus station and the Camp site.
The
camp fee does not include international travel to/from Australia or
domestic travel between your entry/exit port and Newcastle and does not
include travel, accommodation or meals prior to arrival in or after
leaving our District (Hunter/Central Coast region of NSW, Australia).

The
laughing Kookaburra is native to the East Coast of Australia. They are
white in body, wings of brown with a flash of blue. They can become
very friendly with people and are known for the raucous laughter heard
on opening this page. Campers are likely to see and hear Kookaburras
while at Camp. |
