Cab Sec's November 2008 Update

Edenhope Convention:

By now each club has returned their Delegate/Alternate Forms & Remembrance Forms in readiness for the convention.

A very important task for each club is to ensure that the club is financial, ie paid District & International dues.

A delegate’s card will not be issued to any Club who is not financial and will therefore not be eligible for voting. Delegates are advised to check with the club treasurer to ensure your club is financial.

Registrations will be open at Edenhope from 1.30pm Friday at Edenhope Business Centre (in the centre of the main street) and again from 8am on the Saturday.

Friday night official opening will be at the Marquee in Edenhope College grounds.

Saturday events will be at the Mechanics institute (located in the centre of the main street – a short stroll across the road from the registration venue)

MMR’s

A reminder to all club secretaries that your Monthly Membership Reports (MMR’s) are expected to be completed in December as well as January. If you are planning on being away over the Christmas break be sure to complete your MMR before you go away (December) or when you get back (January). Keep up the good work.

Multiple District Convention

Early Registrations have appeared in the most recent Lion Magazine for Multiple District Convention to be held in Melbourne 1^st to 3^rd May next year. If you have not been before, it will be a great opportunity to attend some or all of the convention in close proximity to our District.
