LONGEST WALK FOR AN AUSSIE KID Lion John Olsen of the Lions Club of Geelong has now walked unsupported for 3,400 km and has passed through Cameron's Corner and is proceeding eastward along the dingo fence on the NSW/Qld border toward Hungerford. He has 1,800 km to go before he reaches the east coast at Byron Bay. He has been assisted by an air-drop of supplies organized by Lions Club of Coober Pedy and has recently survived a severe desert sand storm. John is in regular contact by Telstra sat-phone and is encouraged by public support and by the generosity of Lions throughout Australia. With your help over $50,000 has been raised for ALCMF and ALDS. Johns is a regular feature on the ABC radio Macka's "Australia all Over" on Sunday Mornings.
