Children of Courage Awards 2011
The Children of Courage Awards Day was held in the Tocumwal Memorial Hall on Sunday 1st May 2011. The Children of courage Awards are not a competition - every recipient is a winner in his or her own right.
We believe the recognition of these young people will:
Also, they are being accepted regardless of their special needs. These awards portray them as children who have successfully overcome additional barriers which face them in today's world. Since its inception 11 years ago, we have now recognised 180 recipients.

SPECIAL NEEDS
Unfortunately Brent Robert Embery, sponsored by Kerang was not able to attend and his award will be presented during a Kerang Club meeting.
BRAVERY AWARDS
I am very grateful to the Tocumwal Lions Club who have catered for this day the past 10 years, arranging and setting-up the venue, and providing a magnificent afternoon tea for the 119 in attendance. Thank you so much.
Thanks to Governor John and Lion Mary the ceremony was enhanced by their dignity and sincerity.
