some place prominent to remind them of 10 simple ways to support,
encourage and communicate with their children.
The 10 steps include
encouraging children to feel good about themselves and developing
strong values. Parents are also urged to be good role models, to
listen carefully to their children, to openly discuss drugs and
encourage involvement in healthy and creative activities.
The pamphlet suggest
parents join forces by forming support groups and that they help
children to resist peer pressure and address any suspicions that
their child might be using drugs.
