Alan is a member of the Lions Club of Kingsborough with 31 years membership to
his credit. He has held various positions at Club level (including numerous
terms as Secretary) and at District level (including 5 terms as Cabinet
Secretary) and has also served as a Trustee of the Tasmanian Lions Foundation.
Alan has been a Trustee of the Australian Lions Foundation for 5 years and has
the added responsibility of being our Secretary.
Alan is married to Lions Lady Barbara and they have 2 children and 4
grandchildren. After starting his working life in banking, Alan went on to spend
36 years in local and state government positions. He now works part time driving
a bus for the Fahan School in Hobart.
