Australian Lions Foundation
distributes over $660,00
Thanks to the generosity and support of Clubs around Australia and
overseas, the Foundation has been able to distribute this money to
Districts to assist them in supporting those communities impacted by
the recent disasters.
To
date, The Foundation has received contributions from Clubs totalling
$476,000 (and this is still increasing), an overseas donation from
Denmark Lions Disaster Fund of $44,000 and together with a direct
contribution from ALF funds of $200,000, this distribution has been
made possible. At the February meeting $660,000 was distributed. As
funds are still being received, there will shortly be a further
distribution to the impacted Districts. Your generosity and support
via your contributions through the Foundation is appreciated by all
Districts and the communities you have helped. |
