LEO OF THE YEAR  QUEST FINAL  - 2004-2005

 

 

 

2004 MD Leo of the Year . -  Cairns Lions Convention.

This year’s Multiple District 201 Final of the Leo of the Year has been won by Queensland’s entrant Leo Renee Lanphier,  representing the Twin Cities Leo Club.  The other entrants were Tasmanian Sarah Munday representing the Penguin Leo Club, NSW entrant Danielle Laird representing the Ulladulla Milton Leo Club and WA’s Terina Watson representing the Mandurah Leo Club.

This year’s judges were Chief Judge Lois Mojsiewicz (NSW) Naomi Wilson (Community Rep.) Sam Armstrong (New Zealand) PDG Vic Grosse (NSW) and Leo Louise Crawford ( Tasmania).

Leo of the Year Renee Lanphier wins a prize package worth $4,000, which includes $2,000 travel to promote the Leo Program and $2,000 for personal education or travel expenses, plus a new glass L.O.T.Y. miniature trophy, which is a replica of the new Perpetual Trophy unveiled in Cairns for the first time this year.

The next MD 201 Leo of the Year Quest will be held in Adelaide in May 2005.
