Notes on Projects Categories
The only Category "C" Project was Lions Spinal Cord Fellowship which was adopted as such at the 2000 Perth Convention. The Project was subsequently approved as a Category "B" Project and remains as such, as abovementioned.
In accordance with the terms of the Multiple District Constitution, no more than five Category "A" Projects and no more than ten Category "B" Projects can be conducted at any one time.
Pursuant to an amendment to the Constitution adopted at the 2008 Darwin Convention, no existing Category "B" Project can continue past the 30th June, 2014.
The continuation of any then existing Category "B" Project will require the approval of a Multiple District Convention prior to that date.
The maximum life span of any future Category "B" Project is a continuous period of six years.
