A free booklet developed by the Lions Club of the City of Liverpool and Liverpool Hospital Diabetes and Endocrine Service has been a huge success.

It is an excellent introductory booklet for persons over 18 and contains simple yet specific information to assist with the daily task of managing Type 2 Diabetes and staying healthy.

Since the first edition was published in 2005 and with the support of District 2012 Clubs and the NSW/ACT Public Health Care Foundation, in excess of 80,000 copies have been issued by Lions Clubs, Doctors and other Professionals within the South West Sydney area Health Service and wider areas of New South Wales.
