Lions Australia, one of our countries best known service clubs offered $50,000 for urgent relief in the wake of yet another disaster in Indonesia, in 2007.

Lions Clubs International operates the ‘Lions Alert program’. This network of Lions in 200 countries worldwide enables the Association to respond quickly to international emergencies, and to draw on the generous hearts of Lions everywhere to contribute to assistance.
