Involved in the adoption of Renal Disease and Renal Dialysis as a national project at the Australian National Lions Convention.

Chairman, Auro Anson Museum Building Committee.

Founder/President, New England Film and Sound Archive, since 1993. Involved in creating a computer database of more than 2,000 historical items from the original films from many private collections in the New England region. Responsible for obtaining thousands of cans of 16mm news film footage and video tapes from Prime TV and audio tapes of historical value from Radio 2TM, and for their preservation. Organiser/Instigator, 'Fabulous Flicks', a major fundraiser in conjunction with the Tamworth Historical Society, since 2004.
