District 201 Q1 Past District Governors Association

History

Ken Scellsí former District 201 Q5 had always had a Past District Governorís Association.  When he completed his term as District Governor in 1993 he felt that District 201 Q1 should also have a Past District Governorís Association.

However, it was not until September, 1994, before the inaugural dinner took place.  It was held at Desmonds Restaurant, Tweed Heads on Friday, 30 September, 1994.

Host Governor was PDG Ray Phippard, the longest serving 201 Q1 past governor.

As the first district in Australia, it has been governed by such illustrious Past Governors as Bill Tresize, James Richardson and Jamie Jameson.
