Camp Koala site

Camp Koala, located in the Grampian Mountains, 250 km north west of Melbourne (about a three hour drive) in the picturesque village of Halls Gap. Camp begins Sunday 19th. July and ends Saturday 25th. July 2009. Cost AUD$600 all inclusive.

Transport provided from Melbourne where necessary, with home hosting on Saturday 18th July if required.

Participants must be aged 17 to 20 years old. Language for this camp is English.

Accommodation provided is motel style rooms with en-suites maximum three persons per room. All rooms are centrally heated. A heated indoor swimming pool, netball/basketball/tennis courts and a high ropes course are all available on site.

Welcome to the Lions Camp Kookaburra, NSW Australia - your opportunity to share the pleasures and excitement of International Youth Camp life in one of Australia's great coastal bushland settings. The camp fee is AUD$550.

International youth may seek to extend their cultural experience in Australia through participation in the MD201 Youth Exchange program and/or by volunteering for a one or two week community service project hosted by LIONS Clubs.

Application to attend the Camp is open to international and Australian male and female youth aged in the range of 17-21 years who can converse in English and have been endorsed by a LIONS Club from their region.

Water Sports, Wildlife park, Great Barrier Reef trip (snorkeling etc.) Bushwalking, Canoeing, indoor and outdoor sports, Bushdance, beach visit.

Camp Fee:  $625 Australian dollars

CAMP KROKODILE - 2009

 Queensland Australia

Applications Close: 14th April 2009

Lions Camp Krokodile is located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast just 90klm north of the Sunshine State's capital of Brisbane.  The Camp begins with a special Ceremonial welcome by the traditional owners of the region on Friday, 17th July and ends Friday 24th July. Cost AUD$575.

Daily flights from Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide connect directly into the Sunshine Coast airport (MCY) where transport will be arranged to the Camp site.

Participants must be aged 17 to 20 years old. Language for this camp is English.
