Lions Connecting Youth

Lions Connecting Youth Australia - Aims

Over many years, the Lions Clubs of Australia have met and sponsored many young people through our key youth programs of Youth of the Year (YOTY), Youth Exchange (YE) and Leos.

We have helped many young people when they are at the very first rung of the ladder of adulthood. We believe that these young people are the future leaders of our country. Lions would like to give them people the opportunity to meet or reconnect with each other - and to stay in touch with Lions.

The aim of "Lions connecting Youth" is to do just that and we have created a secure Facebook group dedicated to this aim.

Membership of the Facebook group is restricted and will be by invitation only. It is reserved for young people who have participated in Lions Australia youth projects such as Youth of the Year, Youth Exchange, Leos. The site will be regularly visited by out administrative people to ensure the content is appropriate. To join the group, visit the group and click on "Ask to Join Group" on the top right of the facebook page.

So, if you are a former participant in one of Lions youth projects, we are giving you the opportunity to become involved.
• would you like to serve your community by becoming a Leo or a Lion?
• would you like to be a judge for YOTY?
• maybe you could host a young person from overseas who is here on Youth Exchange?

You can have a look at the Lions Connecting Youth Facebook group here...

Note you will need to be logged in to facebook to see this group. Lions Australia reserves the right at its discretion to refuse admission to join or withdraw its consent to any person participating in the Lions Australia Facebook group.
